Wahiawa L&L is the best of them all! Friendly staff and great food. If you want to substitute something, they'll do it unlike the other L&L's they won't substitute at all!

I'm not a big fan of L&L but didn't have much options so decided to try the Wahiawa location for the first time. Definitely run down but I don't mind. I usually get to go anyway so as long as the food is good then I'm good. My husband got the chicken katsu, which was a generous amount of food. I got the chop steak and it was surprisingly delicious. Exactly what I've been craving and didn't even know it. Just wish there was a tad bit more meat.
I came back a couple times after my initial visit and I just feel the meat keeps getting less or maybe it just tastes so good that I want more haha. I decided to try something new another visit and got the pork ribs and let's just say never again, I'll just order the chop steak from here on out whenever I come back again.
My husband also got their beef curry, which tasted ok but definitely not enough meat. Today he got the lemon chicken and it was a huge portion. He ate all so I guess it was good :) -

The other day someone offered to buy me lunch. She came back with won ton soup from L & L Wahiawa. Omg! it was the best won ton soup i ever had. Broth was not oily or salty. The won ton were huge compared to other places. It was delicious. A dish you must try...lol!!! its summer - why am i eating hot soup?....it was worth sweating for.

Can't beat the taste for the price. Quick but tasty, one of the few on the Island that still make Beef Fried Rice.

I have tried L&L Hawaiian BBQ in California and let me just begin by saying the menu I saw there was very limited compared to here on Oahu. Its still the same general chain but with so much more to offer menu wise but still the same delicious food. The place is called, "L&L Drive-in". I didn't check this place out as soon as I would have if I knew this. The restaurant is fairly clean, not a 5 Star restaurant clean, but if you enjoy this type of food you should definitely check it out. The food is quality and they give you huge portions so it worth the money.
